Various elements which can affect your premium in the car insurance policy are as follows:
Add-on covers require additional premium payments to get included in your car insurance policy. This means you have to pay for an extra premium along with the basic premium of your car insurance policy. Hence your premium cost will increase if you tend to add add-on covers in your car insurance policy.
You can add any amount of add-ons in your car insurance policies. Although you can add these add-on covers only if your car insurance policy is comprehensive or standalone own damage policy.
While renewing a policy online you wouldn't require any documents. However, your basic data like customer ID or your policy number may be required while renewing your policy online. With this data, you can easily pay and renew your policy online.
Generally, a copy of your car insurance policy is mailed to you. You can avail it through there. However, in severe cases, you can avail a duplicate copy from your insurance provider. You will have to pay a nominal charge and a written letter is expected from you to avail the duplicate copy.
