    Acko car insurance company offers a wide range of add on covers under a comprehensive car insurance plan which can be added in order to enhance and customise your plan as per your requirement. Some of the add-on covers offered by Acko car insurance as follows:

    1. Zero depreciation- 
      This add-on cover ensures that your insurance company pays you the whole amount of the car without deducting any depreciation value during the claim process.
    2. No- claim bonus protection- 
      Under this add-on, the no claim bonus is kept intact even after you make a claim under the policy.
    3. Engine Protect Cover- 
      Engine protect add-on covers the damages to the engine due to water-logging which are usually not covered under a comprehensive car insurance policy. It can be added to your car insurance plan to ensure complete coverage to the vehicle engine.
    4. Return to Invoice- 
      Return to Invoice add- on pay you the invoice value of the car and not just the insured declared value, in case of the total loss of the car or theft.
    5. Roadside Assistance- Roadside Assistance add-on cover provides assistance in the event of a car breakdown. This add-on cover offers flat tyre expenses, towing charges, refuelling, expenses towards the arrangement of a mechanic, etc.
  • 4. How to check my car insurance claim status online?

    To check your car insurance claim status online, you should log into your Acko account. Visit the link https://www.acko.com/login/ and enter in your mobile number. An OTP would be sent to your number. Enter the OTP and log into your account. Once you have logged in, your claim status would be shown in your account.

  • 5. What is the time taken by the company to process my claim?

    Acko tries to settle your claims within the shortest possible time. The exact time, however, depends on the severity of your claims. Minor claims are settled on the spot while for complicated claims, it might take the company days to settle it.

  • 6. Does Acko offer Pay-as-you-Drive insurance?

    No, currently Acko does not offer the Pay-as-you-Drive policy for your cars.
