  • FIR Lodge (If Applicable)

In the event of significant damage or death to a third party, file a police report at the nearest police station. Keep a copy of the FIR since you'll need it when you settle your claim.

  • Investigation and Documentation

The firm will send a surveyor to evaluate the damage and complete the paperwork necessary to settle your insured vehicle's claim.

  • Tow Your Vehicle

Request a towing service from your insurer to transport your automobile to a cashless workshop, or arrange one yourself. The insurer's towing service is priced according to the distance towed.

  • Settlement of Repair and Claim

 Your automobile will be fixed at the repair shop, and the car insurance company will pay to the garage directly after deducting the deductibles and depreciation (if not opted for the zero depreciation add-on cover).

Royal Sundaram No Claim Bonus

If you don’t file a Royal Sundaram car insurance claim, you will be entitled to a no claim bonus (NCB) from the insurance company. The NCB works by offering you discounts on your renewal premium. For not filing a claim in the first year of the policy, you will get a 20% discount on your premium for the next year. If you continue to not file a claim for the next four years, the discount would go up to 50%. However, the discount would apply to the own damage premium component of the policy only.
