PIBPL reserves the right to communicate your personal information to any governmental/legal/regulatory agencies mandated under law that makes a legally-compliant request for its disclosure. Additionally, PIBPL will share your personal information in accordance with the provisions of this Privacy Policy.
  2. PIBPL values your trust & respects your privacy. PIBPL will not use your email address/mobile number for unsolicited emails and/or SMS. Any emails and/or SMS sent by PIBPL will only be in connection with the provision of agreed services and this Privacy Policy. Periodically, PIBPL may reveal general statistical information about itself & its users, such as number of customers, number and type of services purchased, etc.

Personal Information means and includes all information that can be linked to a specific individual or to identify any individual, directly or indirectly, such as name, address, mailing address, telephone number, email ID and any details that may have been voluntarily provided by you in connection with availing any of the services provided by PIBPL.

If you provide any information that is untrue, inaccurate, out of date or incomplete (or subsequently becomes untrue, inaccurate, out of date or incomplete), or we have reasonable grounds to suspect that the information provided by you is untrue, inaccurate, out of date or incomplete, we may, at our sole discretion, discontinue the provision of the Services to you. There may be circumstances where PIBPL will not correct, delete or update your Personal Information, including (i) where the Personal Information is opinion data that is kept solely for evaluative purpose; and (ii) the Personal Information is in documents related to a prosecution if all proceedings relating to the prosecution have not been completed.

PIBPL shall, subject to your explicit consent, communicate or disclose your information or data to any third party or agents/representatives or legal/regulatory authorities or in our capacity as a system participant or as a member of any clearing/settlement/payment system that make a legally/regulatory compliant request for its disclosure or for transactional purposes on a need to know basis or for offering or marketing other services so provided by us or for fulfilment of services, credit offering, credit reporting or statistical analysis or for customer verification or for customization/enhancement of our services. You hereby agree and acknowledge that PIBPL, for the purpose of facilitating sale and servicing of insurance products to you as an insurance broker, will provide your personal information to the insurers chosen by you on the PIBPL ISNP for purchase/ servicing of insurance product. You hereby authorise PIBPL to share such information with the insurers.
  6. However, you may delete your PIBPL account at any point of time by making such choice in the PIBPL’s desktop website, mobile WAP site or mobile application.
  7. You shall not disclose to any other person, in any manner whatsoever, any information relating to PIBPL of a confidential nature obtained in the course of availing the services through PIBPL’s desktop website/mobile WAP site/mobile applications. Failure to comply with this obligation shall be deemed a serious breach of the terms herein and shall entitle PIBPL to terminate the services, without prejudice to any damages, to which you may be entitled otherwise.

Data Retention Policy

  1. We store your Personal Information in accordance with applicable laws, which means we keep your it for as long as necessary to provide you with our Services or as may be required under any law. We shall store your Personal Information for lawful purposes only. We keep de-identified data for research and statistical purposes for a longer period.
  2. If you close your account, we have no obligation to retain your data, and we may delete any or all of your data without liability. However, we may retain data related to you if we believe it may be necessary to prevent fraud or future abuse, or if required by law, or for other legitimate purposes. We may continue to store your data in anonymised form for analytical and research purposes.

By using the PIBPL ISNP and/or by providing your information, you acknowledge and consent to the collection and use of the information you disclose on the PIBPL ISNP in accordance with this Privacy Policy, including but not limited to the sharing of such information as per this Privacy Policy. You further consent to receiving transactional communications from PIBPL through phone calls, SMS, email, WhatsApp messages. Subject to applicable law and your communication preferences and consents, PIBPL may also send promotional communications through phone calls, SMS, email, WhatsApp messages, automated voice calls and pre-recorded messages. Where required under applicable law, PIBPL shall obtain separate consent for such promotional communications.   1. PIBPL has stringent security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse, and alteration of the information under its control.
  2. Whenever a customer changes or accesses his/her account information, PIBPL offers the use of a secure server. You shall adhere to the relevant terms and conditions while using or accessing the desktop website/mobile WAP site/mobile applications including but not limited to ensuring the security and confidentiality of your login details.
  3. Once your information is in the possession of PIBPL, it adheres to strict security guidelines, protecting it against unauthorized access.

  1. This policy may change at any time without prior notification to customers and will be reviewed as and when required. While we will make reasonable efforts to keep you posted on any updates to this privacy policy, to make sure that you are aware of any changes, we recommend that you review this policy periodically.
