Mahindra XUV300 Car Insurance FAQs
1. Why is Engine Secure an essential add-on cover?
Engine secure aids compensation for all the repair and maintenance of the engine even those which are not related to accidents. New owners and high-end car owners should choose this particular add-on cover as this can save you from any unrelated costs of engine damage as well. People residing in a flood-prone area or a monsoon prone area have utmost chances of damaging their engine. Therefore, even if it is an add-on cover, it could prove to be very essential as it provides 360° protection to your car’s engine.
2. What is a Consumable Cover?
The consumable cover is an add-on cover in an insurance policy. It ensures that your insurer will pay out the small consumable expenses of bolts, screws, oils, nuts etc. You do not have to bear the cost of replacing or repairing them in a consumable cover. In many expensive cars, the price of their consumables is high. Insurance experts highly advise this add on cover for those who invest in expensive cars. Though cars older than 3 years are not eligible for this add-on cover.
3. Are there any add-ons which can assist me in emergencies ?
There is an add-on cover known as Roadside Assistance Cover. It is the best add-on if you are looking for help during any immediate emergency. This cover includes expenses of car break down, towing, battery-related issues, refuelling, change of flat tyres, etc. The insurance company will send help wherever you are and will assist you with solutions to your location.
4. Can I claim the car insurance if someone else was driving my car?
Yes! If you offer your car to a driver who is eligible and if they get into an accident, you can still claim your car insurance policy. In fact, you can also get the driver insured in your car insurance policy for accidental benefits.
