The diesel engine has a capacity of 2755cc, churning out a maximum power of 204PS@3400RPM for manual transmission and 204PS@ 3000-3400RPM for automatic transmission. 

Toyota Glanza

Glanza is a rebranded Suzuki Baleno car, which is sold in India by Toyota in partnership with Kirloskar. With a starting price of INR 7.01 Lakh (Ex-showroom, New Delhi), Glanza is a subcompact hatchback for a small family. Powered with the K-series petrol engine with 1197cc displacement, Glanza is available in both manual and automatic transmission.

Toyota Yaris

Based on the name of Charities, the Greek God of charm and beauty, Toyota Yaris is a stylish, sleek, and fast hatchback, which is only available in gasoline engine, supporting both manual (6-speed gearbox) and automatic variant. Yaris is powered by a 4-cylinder petrol engine with 1496cc displacement and is priced at INR 9.16 lakhs for the base variant (manual).

Urban Cruiser

One of the newest launches from Toyota, Urban Cruiser is a crossover SUV, targeted for those who wish to move up from a hatchback into something bolder, and bigger. Available only in petrol version, the engine has a displacement of 1462cc, and gives a maximum power of 104.72PS @ 6000 RPM. Price starts at INR 8.40 lakhs for the base variant, ex-Showroom in New Delhi.

Innova Crysta

A compact MPV, Innova has been one of the best selling cars from Toyota in India. With a 7-seats capacity, Innova is available in both diesel and petrol variants, supporting manual and automatic transmissions. The engine has a displacement of 2393cc with a max power of 150PS @ 3400 RPM. The base variant in petrol is priced at INR 15.85 lakhs and INR 16.64 Lakh for the diesel base variant (Ex-showroom, New Delhi)

What is Covered Under Toyota Car Insurance Policy

Third-Party Losses: In the unfortunate event of third party loss, your policy will take care of the legal and financial liabilities.

Damages Due to Accidents: If your car is damaged due to an accident, nothing to worry about as your car insurance policy got you covered.

Car Thefts: In case your car is stolen, your car insurance policy will look after the same.

Damages Caused in Fire: If your car catches fire, your car policy will pay for the damages.

Damages Due to Natural/Man-made Disaster: When flood, hurricane, hail storm, tornado, riots, etc attack your car, your insurance policy comes in handy. 

Personal Accident: In case you meet with an accident that leads to injuries or unfortunately death, your policy will offer compensation of up to INR 15 lakh.

What is not Covered Under Toyota Car Insurance Policy

Drunken Driving: No car insurance company will accept your claim if you were drunk or under an intoxicant when the accident happened.

Unauthorised Driving: Your claim will be rejected if the driver is without a valid Driver’s License.

Deliberate Accident: If the accident has been caused purposely, the claim will be rejected.

Consequential Damages: Consequential damages that are caused after the accident are not covered under insurance.

Negligence: An accident occurs because of your own negligence, you won’t be able to claim the damages.

Depreciation: Damages that are caused because of normal wear and tear, mechanical or electric failure due to travelling.

Expired policy: If the policy has lapsed, your damages will not be covered.

Excluded Add-Ons: You will not be able to claim the benefits that you do not have in your plan.

How to Renew Your Toyota Car Insurance Policy

  • 4. Is NCB transferable to the new insurance policy?

  • 5. Should I buy an engine protection plan for my 2nd hand car?

    There are several insurance add-ons, which are provided by the insurance company to the owners of cars. In this list of add-ons is the engine protection plan, which covers all damage to your engine. If you need more protection for your 2nd hand car, then this add-on is fine to activate.

  • 6. Will my NCB transfer if I transfer the insurance policy to the new owner of the car?
