Getting Online Driving Licence Rajasthan is an easy process with the Rajasthan transport website. However, one can also get it offline at RTO. Here are the steps:
Online:
To file an online application for a driving Licence, the applicant must get to the Sarathi portal. Here, choose online services, then go to driving Licence-related services, next is to select Rajasthan in-state option.
After this, you will get a form, which must be filled in properly, and now click submit after attaching the required documents. Pay the fees and book the test slot that is to be scheduled at the RTO office. Reach the RTO office for a driving test. If the applicant clears the exam, DL will be issued.
Offline:
One must have a Learning Licence Rajasthan to apply for a permanent driving Licence at the RTO office. On reaching the district RTO office, an applicant can take the application and fill it to submit with required documents. On submitting this with respective fees, you will be asked to select the date of test driving. By clearing the driving test, an applicant can obtain a valid driving Licence.
A vehicle must have a driving Licence but if it is lost or misplaced, one can apply for Duplicate Driving Licence Rajasthan. For a duplicate Licence, an applicant can submit the necessary documents including an FIR copy of the lost Licence with the application form of LLD to the RTO office or online.
Before the applicant turns 50 or when the driving Licence is already 20 years old, it is compulsory to get your Licence renewed. For Rajasthan Licence renewal, the applicant needs to submit fully filled application form no. 9 with photographs, an original copy of his driving Licence, etc.
Applicants can choose to obtain an international driving Licence with Sarathi Driving Licence Rajasthan if they wish to drive abroad. For this, he needs to submit a filled form 4A with the original copy of his driving Licence, valid passport and visa, and medical certificate at the RTO office offline or online.
The applicant may choose to convert his driving Licence to Commercial Driving Licence Rajasthan. For this, he can submit properly filled form number 8 along with documents including identity proof, age proof, etc.
To check the status of the driving Licence, go to the parivahan portal, here go to the online service tab and then select driving-related services. Now, choose Rajasthan and then choose the application status in the Rajasthan RTO application tab. Here, you will be asked to enter your number, DOB and by entering a captcha, you can check the status of your driving Licence. You can also do this at the RTO office.
It is essential to clear the Rajasthan learning Licence test to obtain a valid learner’s Licence. With a learner’s Licence, an applicant can apply for a permanent driving Licence. After applying for a Licence, the applicant may choose the driving test slot that is to be conducted at the RTO office. It is compulsory to clear this test so as to acquire a valid Licence. The test taken by an inspector is to check the skills and knowledge of driving in an applicant. If the applicant fails, he can reappear in the test.
