Bajaj has been one of the oldest and most trusted brands when it comes to the manufacturing of automobiles in India. Considering its rich history, the automaker was the first to bring in the street revolution in the country with its iconic Pulsar duo. The Bajaj Pulsar is a name that needs no introduction in the country and still enjoys heavy sales in the 150cc segment. Facing immense success with its 150 segments, the automaker decided to extend its offering to the 180cc segment as well.
The Bajaj Pulsar 180 dawns the iconic design that has not been changed for a while now. However, the automaker has tried to keep up with refreshing colours. Pulsar 180F starts at a base price of INR 1,10,000 and goes up to a price tag of INR 1,35,000 (Ex-showroom Delhi).
Coming to the mechanical specifications of the Bajaj Pulsar 180F, the powertrain option is a 178.6cc liquid-cooled, DOHC BS6 engine that pairs with twin-spark technology. The engine develops a power of 17.02PS besides giving out a peak torque of 15Nm. The powertrain is mated to a five-speed gearbox, with a fuel tank capacity at 15L.
Coming to the style of the bike, while the automaker had previously kept the looks of the 180F, close to that of the 150, there have been a few changes. The automaker decided to pair the looks of the moniker 220F with the 180F, calling it the new pulsar that puts on LED lighting, a semi-digital instrument console, and a fuel tank lid that resembles the shape of an aircraft. Lastly, the automaker also paired the Pulsar with a step-seat design and new colour schemes with equally refreshing decals.
