Both variants of Honda XBlade have great performance and mileage. At 52 kmpl mileage, it has a fantastic grip on-road, good pick-up, and does not show any vibrations even at 100kmph speed. The hazard switch is also a worthy and useful addition to the bike. It has long, comfortable seats which allows one to go on riding the bike for longer stretches of time. The fully digital instrument cluster, aggressive LED headlamp, and robotic front, gives it a stylish yet tough look. The bike is also perfectly suitable for both city roads and highways.

Overall, the Honda XBlade is a good purchase considering the features it has and the affordable price it is available in.

Honda XBlade Insurance FAQs

  • 1. I recently purchased Honda XBlade and have decided to get an insurance policy for the same. What is the No-claim Bonus (NCB) mentioned in the policies?

Motor policy for old bikes is for one year and for new ones in 3 years.

No-claim Bonus or NCB refers to the additional benefit that the insured gets in case there are no insurance claims filed against the insured two-wheeler. NCB for two-wheelers gets reduced after one claim thus for not making a claim of up to 5 consecutive years, your accumulated NCBs are up to 50%, hence you can get great discounts in your next policy premium.

  • 2. My Honda XBlade has met with some damages. I have a proper insurance policy for my bike. Which is the best time to register for an insurance claim for my two-wheeler?

Bike insurance should be claimed or registered immediately after the accident or incident. For Theft/Accidental Claims, intimation to both insurance companies and police should be given within 24 Hours.

If it is delayed beyond 48 hours, a written clarification should be given to the insurance company. However, the company is not liable for any damage that has occurred due to delay in registration or failure to produce the vehicle during survey.

  • 3. I have to register an insurance claim for my Honda XBlade. Can someone tell me which documents to carry while registering the claim?

The following are the documents and details that are needed during insurance claim registration - policy number, vehicle registration and engine number, caller details i.e. relation to insured, date, time and place of incident, loss type i.e. own damage, TP, theft, PA claim or any injury has been sustained in accident, if incident is reported to police, GD or FIR number, driver name and claim number.

  • 4. My new Honda XBlade got stolen last night. How do I register an insurance claim from an existing insurance policy?

First, you have to file an FIR with your nearest police station. You have to submit a photocopy of the same, some documents, bike keys, and a non-traceable certificate to your insurance company. You can claim the full IDV amount in case your bike is stolen.
