Hero MotoCorp Two Wheeler Insurance FAQs

  • 1. I recently had a minor crash on my Hero bike, one of my friends suggested that I should not go for a claim, should I listen to him?

Yes, your friend is right when he says that you shouldn’t go to your insurance company. When you don’t raise a claim during an entire year, you are then entitled to qualify for “No Claim Bonus” that provides you with some amount of reimbursement over the insurance premium for the next year. So, if the repairing costs are minor, it’s best to avoid raising an insurance claim.

  • 2. In case I have recently had a bike accident, what should be the ideal time to file for a claim?

‘Bodily Injury to Self or Third Party’, ‘Third-party Property Damage’ or ’Theft’ should be reported to your nearest police station as early as possible. Delay in reporting of such incidents might affect the claim process.
