1. How does the SBI Critical Illness Policy work?

Since a regular policy may not be adequate while covering critical illnesses, you can contemplate buying the critical illness policy of SBI. This. SBI policy covers 13 major critical ailments with 1-year to 3 years tenure plans. It offers a sum insured from a minimum of INR 2 lakh up to INR 50 lakh — the health insurance company pays out a lump sum amount irrespective of the actual medical expenses. 

2. What are the other health insurance benefits of the comprehensive Supreme Arogya Policy?

Supreme Arogya provides 20 basic covers and eight riders. Its exclusive covers include domestic air ambulance charges, recovery benefit, e-opinion cover and compassionate benefit. Those under 45 years and insuring below INR 50 lakhs do not require pre-policy medical check-ups. The policy has a flexi-benefit option of co-payment to the policyholder.
