Liberty Car Insurance

    Better known as the third-party car insurance, this is the most basic kind of cover you can get for your car.   • Liberty Package Car Insurance

Liberty Two-Wheeler Insurance

Liberty Insurance offers two-wheeler insurance at an affordable and easy-to-understand way. The plans can be bought in the following two ways:

    Which you need to renew at a yearly basis
  2. Multi-Year Policy
    You can opt for a policy tenure of 2 or 3 years
  • Liberty Liability Only Two-Wheeler Insurance Policy
    Liability Only or third-party two-wheeler insurance is the most standard kind of cover. This policy is the basic requirement as it is mandated by the Motor Vehicle Act, 1988. This policy would only cover the damages/ injuries of the third person, who isn’t a party to the insurance policy. Your own-damages will not be covered. Note that:
    • Damage caused to property (Excluding vehicle) of the person by your insured two-wheeler is covered up to INR 1 lakh

Liberty Insurance - Renewal of Policy

  • Online Method
    To renew your insurance policy online, you can visit the official website and go to ’Renew’ or simply click https://healthinsurance.libertyinsurance.in/QuickRenewal.aspx. You would then have to enter your policy details along with your date of Birth. Once you submit these, you will have the option to make modifications in the policy such as including/ dropping add-ons or riders and also the policy tenure. Once you feed in all these entries, you can make the payment through your credit/debit card or net banking.
  • Offline Method
    You can get the policy renewal from a branch office as well. You can take the help of an executive to fill in the paperwork. The payment can be done through a cheque/ demand draft/ credit or debit card.

Liberty General Insurance Policy Renewal Process

Your policy would expire once the policy tenure is complete. It will, however, enter a Grace period of 30 days during which you can pay the premium and get it renewed. Not renewing your policy on time will nullify all of its cover and benefits. You will also lose out on the discounts and benefits that may have been accumulated during claim-free years. It is only prudent to keep the policy renewal as a priority and do it well in time.

    Get in touch with the customer care and request them to process the renewal request. A company surveyor will come to assess your vehicle. Once approved, you will receive the instructions to make the payment to renew your policy. You would have to clear the pending amount along with a fine. Liberty General Insurance Claim Process

1. Car and Two-Wheeler Insurance
You must register a motor insurance claim as quickly as possible. You can do so by calling at 1800 266 5844 or register on the website or click https://www.libertyinsurance.in/claims/motor-insurance-claim-process.html. A company representative will be in touch with you to explain the further procedures. A survey will be arranged by the company within 24 hours. It may take 48 hours if the vehicle is outside city limits. The following documents may be required at the time of making a claim, so it is advised to keep them handy.

  • Policy Papers/ Policy Number
  • Govt Approved ID of the policyholder
  • Driver’s Licence of the Owner-Driver
  • All details of the accident

Once at the garage the repair can be done in the following ways:

  • Cashless Claims
    If the vehicle is repaired at a network garage, after the inspection and approval from the surveyor, your vehicle will undergo repair. The company will settle the claims with the garage directly.
  • Reimbursement
    However, if the vehicle is repaired at a non-network garage, once the inspection and approval are done by the surveyor, your vehicle will be repaired. You will have to pay the bill yourself. Post-repair you can submit all the bills and relevant documents, listed above, and make a claim for reimbursement.

2. Health Insurance
When you or an insured family member is hospitalised, it can put in a lot of stress. Liberty Health Insurance has a hassle-free claim procedure that helps you manage such affairs calmly.
To make a health insurance claim you first need to notify the company. In the case of planned hospitalisation, the notification should be 48 hours prior to the admission and in case of emergency hospitalisation, it should be done within 72 hours. You can do so by calling on the toll-free number 1800 102 7477, you can send an email to claims@vipulmedcorp.com. The Authorisation/Claim form can be obtained from the hospital helpdesk or downloaded from the company website or from www.vipulmedcorp.com. Post verification of the paperwork, the hospital bill will be settled by Liberty Insurance directly. Note that you would have to pay for the non-medical expenses that are not covered.

  • Reimbursement
    In case you get your hospitalization in a non-network hospital, first, all the medical bills will be settled by you. Later, within a period of 15 days, you can claim reimbursement through the TPA.
