To pay the premium conveniently, Star Health allows payment in two ways, you can pay the premium in any of the two following ways:

The payment can be made online by visiting the official website and making the payment using net banking/ credit or debit card/ mobile wallet. - Offline Method
For paying the premium offline, you need to personally visit a branch office. You can pay via cash or cheque. Another way to pay the premium is through a trusted insurance agent.

- Online Method
To renew your health insurance policy you simply need to visit the company website and go to ‘Renewals’. Or you can click https://www.starhealth.in/customerportal/instant-renewal and go to the page directly. Enter your policy number and date of birth, and you will be directed to a new page. Here you can pay the amount that is due and your policy will be renewed. - Offline Method
If you wish to pay the premium offline, you can either do it at a branch office or through an authorised insurance agent.
Star Health & Allied Insurance Company - Renewal of Expired Policy
When you buy a policy, you must keep its renewal a priority. The best way to ensure that never let a policy expire is to get it renewed before it reaches the expiry date. This way you can ensure break-free coverage and not be in a financial crisis when unwell.

Star Health & Allied Insurance Company - Claim Procedure
Star Health promises its customers a hassle-free and customer-centric claim process. They make sure that all the claims are quickly and easily settled. When you have to make a claim, make sure you intimate the company at the earliest. In the case of planned hospital admission, you must inform the company 24 hours prior, and in case of an emergency, the intimation should be done within 24 hours. - Cashless Claim
If you wish to go for cashless treatment, you must get admitted into a network hospital. Network hospitals have a collaboration with the company and the bills are settled by the company. To locate a network hospital near you click: https://spp.starhealth.in/#/
At the hospital, you would have to show your Health Card and submit the treatment-related documents. After verification of the documents, the treatment will begin and your bill will be settled by the company. You will, however, have to pay for the non-covered expenses. - Reimbursement Claim
If you get the treatment in a non-network hospital, you can still make a claim, however, you would pay your bill yourself first and after all the paperwork, the company will reimburse the expenses. Make sure that you intimate the company on time and after the treatment, submit the claim form and all required documents within 15 days of the date of discharge. Once all verification is done, you will be reimbursed with the claim amount, in your savings account. You will, however, have to bear the non-covered expenses.
