Waiting Period
There is no waiting period for hospitalisation that may be required after an accident, however, for other situations a waiting period is applicable as follows:
- A 90-day waiting period is applicable for sickness related hospitalisation and minor surgeries
- For major surgeries, the waiting period is 120 days
- There is a waiting period of 48 months for all pre-existing illnesses.
- For critical diseases, a waiting period is 90 days along with a survival period of 30 days is applicable.
Free Look Period
When you purchase this policy, the company gives you a 1 day free-look period to review the terms and conditions. In case you feel you are not satisfied with the policy, you can return to the company within this period. You would have to write to the company mentioning the reason for returning. The premium that you have paid will be returned to you. The proportionate risk and stamp duty charges will be deducted from the amount.
What is not Covered in Tata AIG Wellsurance Executive Policy?

Renewal Process of Tata AIG Wellsurance Executive Policy
With Tata AIG Wellsurance Executive Policy, you have the option of a lifelong renewal when you pay all the due premiums on time. The process of renewing the policy is easy-to-understand and it does not take very long. Visit the company website, go to “Renewal” and enter your policy details. You will be redirected to a new page, check all the details once and when satisfied make the payment online. You can pay via net banking, credit or debit card, UPI payment or mobile wallet.
You also have the option to renew the policy by visiting a branch office personally. You would have to fill in the renewal form and pay the premium via credit/debit card or through a cheque or Demand draft.
