What is the Eligibility Criteria to Avail Driving Licence in Assam?

The following is the eligibility criteria for availing a driving licence (Saarthi) in Assam:

  • The applicant must be 18 years old or above.
  • For a transport vehicle, the age must be at least 21 years.
  • For a driving licence to drive a vehicle with an engine capacity less than 50CC, the age must be 16 years.
