Hyundai Eon, a 5-seater hatchback, was launched by Hyundai in October 2011 in India and is an entry-level car from the South Korean car manufacturer company. Eon’s design was made with a joint effort of Hyderabad R&D Center in South Korea and Hyderabad in India. It has become famous for its well-built interior, spaciousness, powerful and efficient engine. In other words, Eon is innovative, trustworthy, sporty, and unpretentious.
So, in January 2012, considering Eon’s popularity, Hyundai launched its LPG models with toroidal tanks. In May 2014, Hyundai announced another Eon variant with a three-cylinder engine. But in August 2019, Hyundai Motor India Pvt. Ltd. announced that the Eon would be discontinued by the end of September 2019, as the car is not compliant with new safety rules and regulations.
Eon has two types of engine variants, 0.8 litre, and 1 litre. To be more specific, it has 2 petrol engines and 1 LPG engine on offer. The petrol engine is 814 cc.
