To avail a driving licence (Saarthi) in Bangalore, you must meet the eligibility criteria given below.

  • Age of 18 years or above 
  • Must hold a valid learner’s licence

If DL is stolen, tampered with, or misplaced, you can request for a duplicate driving licence to be issued. You would require the following documents to get a duplicate driving licence in Bangalore:

  • Challan clearance report (commercial DL)
  • Copy of the FIR (if stolen)

The driving licence test in Bangalore is conducted by an Inspector from the RTO. This test examines your awareness and knowledge about the various traffic rules in Karnataka.
