The SBI bike insurance claim process is very easy if opted online. You can apply for the claim settlement at the SBIG’s official website by following the below steps-
- Get in touch with the SBIG as soon as possible after the accident. You can call their toll-free number at 1800-102-1111. It is advised to make this call within 24 hours of the accident.
- The company will appoint a representative and you are required to provide the following details to him-
- Bike insurance policy number
- Time and date of the incident
- Depreciation of the bike or the estimated loss of the accident
- The location where the surveyor can assess the estimated loss
- Driver’s contact details such as name and driving licence
- After all the necessary submissions, the representative will give a claim reference number that will be used for future reference. You can collect it from SBIG's nearest branch or download it from its official website.
- Survey- The company appoints the surveyor to assess the overall damages caused by the accident. You should submit the policy documents, filed claimed form and evidence of the accident.
- Settlement- After the assessment, the surveyor will approve the damages, and the insurance company will settle the claim after deducting the depreciation and necessary deductibles.
How to Make SBI Two Wheeler Insurance Cashless Claim?
The cashless bike insurance claim at SBI is very speedy, and you must follow the below steps to do the same-
- First things first, inform the SBIG of their toll-free number.
- You must fill out your SBI bike insurance claim form within 24 hours.
- The SBIG itself will appoint a representative to get the necessary details about the accident.
- Take your damaged bike to a network garage of the insurer
- The surveyor will inspect the damages to your bike and give an estimation of the total loss.
- After confirming its legal and financial liabilities, the company will initiate the claim settlement by directly paying to the garage after making deductions of depreciation and deductibles.
How to Make SBI Two Wheeler Insurance Reimbursement Claim?
You can register the SBI reimbursement claim if you cannot move your bike to SBI's network garages. The reimbursement claim is valid for repair expenses you incurred at other garages. The following procedure must be followed-
- Contact your insurance service provider immediately after the accident.
- After the intimation, the SBI manager will check the bike’s condition before sending it to repair.
- The surveyor appointed by the company will estimate the total cost.
- The policyholder will have to pay for the bike repairs to the garage from his pocket.
- Submit all the claim documents and duly filled the SBI claim form two-wheeler along with original receipts and bills to the insurer..

SBI No Claim Bonus
The SBI no claim bonus is an add-on that the company offers in its standalone and comprehensive insurance policy. This is more of an award that the insurer offers to the policyholder in every claim-free year. It keeps accumulating and can go up to 50% in the 5th consecutive year of no claim.
If you file an SBI claim for a two-wheeler for even minor damages, the NCB benefit will be disabled. So it is advisable to file for the SBI two-wheeler claim form only when the damage is prominent.
