TVS Ntorq is available in 2 colour variants in the market – metallic blue and metallic grey where the style and design of the scooter celebrate the spirit of innovation. The masterstroke engine is powered by 5-different types – Single Cylinder, 4 - Stroke, SI, Air Cooled, Fuel Injected, providing you a low cost engine maintenance with a fuel tank capacity of 5.8 litres.
The disc brake at the front side combined with the rear has good stopping power that enables you to control the speed confidently. The brakes are supported by the SBT (Synchronized Braking Technology) system.

- Third-Party Losses: In the unfortunate event of third party loss, your policy will take care of the legal and financial liabilities.

What is not Covered Under TVS Two Wheeler Insurance Policy
- Drunken Driving: No insurance company will accept your claim if you were drunk or under an intoxicant when the accident happened.
- Unauthorised Driving: Your claim will be rejected if the rider is without a valid Driver’s License.
- Deliberate Accident: If the accident has been caused purposely, the claim will be rejected.
- Consequential Damages: Consequential damages that are caused after the accident are not covered under insurance.
- Negligence: An accident occurs because of your own negligence; you won’t be able to claim the damages.
- Depreciation: Damages that are caused because of normal wear and tear, mechanical or electric failure due to travelling.
- Expired policy: If the policy has lapsed, your damages will not be covered.
- Excluded Add-Ons: You will not be able to claim the benefits that you do not have in your plan

1. If I opt for a 3rd party insurance for my TVS Ntorq, does it cover the policy for the theft?
Getting a 3rd party insurance is just to protect yourself against damages accrued to the third-party party’s vehicle or any injury caused to any third party person only. Thus, 3rd party insurance does not cover theft hence you need to take an insurance cover against theft for your scooter.
2. Under what circumstances am I not covered under the insurance policy of my TVS Ntorq?
In the event of any losses under the following circumstances, you are not covered:
- Electrical/Mechanical breakdown of your TVS Ntorq
- TVS Ntorq ageing/wear and tear
- Consequential loss i.e. loss amounting to cover another loss occurred as a result of an accident
- Depreciation
- Damage by/to a person driving another two wheeler without an authenticated license
- Contractual liability
- Drunken driving
- Intentional accidental loss
3. Is there any penalty levied if I drive my TVS Ntorq without insurance?
Yes, a penalty will be levied on you in accordance with the Section 197 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988, if the cops caught you driving without insurance. A penalty of ₹2000 is applicable for the first time and ₹4000 subsequently.
4. What if my owned TVS Ntorq met with an accident which I was not riding. Can I still be able to make a claim?
Yes, you can make a claim under the following conditions:
- You should have an existing TVS Ntorq insurance policy.
- If the premium is paid for the driver having insurance or premium which is likely to be payable, if the scooter is being driven by him/her with your permission.
- The person riding the scooter is duly licensed subject to the inclusion of the seating capacity including the driver’s seat.
