Don’t worry! Car insurance policies are acceptable nationwide across India. Irrespective of where your car met with an accident and got damaged, the car insurance policy benefits will be applicable. Though sometimes pick up and drop facilities might not be availed by your insurance provider. In such a case, there might be situations where an external surveyor is assigned by your insurance provider to assess the amount of loss and damage that happened to your car.
There can be four basic ways to avail discounts in your premium payments -
A car insurance premium calculator helps you to calculate an approximate cost of regular premiums for your policy chosen. It forms its basis taking into consideration the Insured Declared Value (IDV) and the number of add-ons included. If you base your calculation on the basis of just tentative information, it would not give you the appropriate and genuine information. It is always legible to base your insurance premium calculations on accurate information in order to acquire a relevant quote.
Different car insurance policies will have different benefits, features, inclusions, and exclusions. The price of an insurance policy can depend on many different factors. Different plans will offer different diversity of coverage. A car insurance policy offering wider coverage will surely be slightly expensive than the other policies offering lesser coverage. Though there might be some plans as well which offer wider coverage but miss out on negligible features which makes them a bit affordable. So it is always advisable to select your insurance plan on the basis of coverage offered.
