Since Hyundai launched its “i” series in the market, there has been unmatchable competition against Hyundai in the hatchback product line. Launching the first i10 of the “i” series, it got an unbelievable response majorly in the Indian market. Following its success, Hyundai launched a sporty city hatchback named the Grand i10 in the year 2013. And the response to this launch was no different!

The Grand i10 NIOS positions itself as a successor to the i10 and a predecessor to the i20. Like its other peers in the “i” series, grand i10 also comes in four versions: Era, Magna, Sportz, and Asta.

Key Specifications of Hyundai Grand i10 NIOS

The Hyundai Grand i10 NIOS comes in two possible engine variants. A 1.2-litre four-cylinder Kappa dual VTVT petrol and diesel engine variant and a 1.0litre three-cylinder U2 GDi petrol engine variant. The car comes with a maximum fuel tank capacity of 37 liters for both petrol and diesel variants.  Comparing the performance between both, the petrol engine runs with a mileage of 18.8 km/l, whereas the diesel engine runs with a mileage of 24 km/l. 

Both the petrol and diesel variants support five-speed manual transmission. Some selected petrol engine variants also support four-speed automatic transmission. The petrol engine variants can go to a speed of 0-100 in 12.9 seconds while the diesel variants take 15.6 seconds.

Unauthorised Driving: Your claim will be rejected if the driver is without a valid Driver’s License.

Deliberate Accident: If the accident has been caused purposely, the claim will be rejected.

Consequential Damages: Consequential damages that are caused after the accident are not covered under insurance.

Negligence: An accident occurs because of your own negligence, you won’t be able to claim the damages.

Depreciation: Damages that are caused because of normal wear and tear, mechanical or electric failure due to travelling.

Expired policy: If the policy has lapsed, your damages will not be covered.

Excluded Add-Ons: You will not be able to claim the benefits that you do not have in your plan.
