The Union Territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli was constituted by an act of the Parliament of India. Under section 213(1) of the 1988 Motor Vehicles Act, the Transport Commissioner governs Dadra & Nagar Haveli DN-09. DN-09's principal responsibility is to keep track of all vehicles registered in the district and enforce the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988's numerous rules and regulations.

A vehicle's RTO licence is to be valid for 15 years following the time of enrolment. It must be renewed within 30 days of expiration.

Request a refund if you find that the road tax in the previous state was greater than it is now following the transfer. Before requesting a refund from the new province, you must complete the re-registration process for your vehicle there.
To be eligible for a refund, you must present the following documentation. "The chassis number impression," "The NOC for automotive transfer" and "Copies of vehicle insurance policies," all certify that the RC has been successfully transferred from one state to another. Copy of current state road tax invoice; copy of previous state road tax receipt; copies of any other required documentation.
