The application form (form 25) for renewal of registration can be submitted at any RTO 60 days before expiry. The main documents required for the renewal of the registration certificate are- pollution certificate, insurance policy and the previous RC.
A duplicate RC can also be issued at Bangalore West RTO, provided you produce the police certificate.
For a new private motor vehicle registration at any RTO in India, the customer has to mandatorily produce a duly filled form 20 and form 21 along with insurance proof and address proof of the owner and prescribed fee. Sometimes the owner will also have to produce a fitness certificate or a PAN card or form 60 and 61.
For re-registration of any private motor vehicle at any RTO, the application form has to be submitted under form 25 along with all the other mandatory documents like old registration certificate, proof of up-to-date tax payment, insurance certificate, and pollution under control certificate. This re-registration form has to be submitted with the prescribed fee at the concerned RTO.
