As per the regulations of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988, the Trimulgherry RTO was established to monitor transport-related activities.   • Driving Licence: Issuance of different types of Licences such as driving licences like a learner, permanent, renewal, duplicate, additions of class licence and international driving permit, etc.
  • Conductor Licence: -An application of the grant of Conductor’s Licence shall be made in Form-L.Con.A, valid adult care certificate from St. John Ambulance Association and fee as prescribed.
  • Registration of Motor Vehicle: The Department gives many registration documents and registration certificates and related services, such as Trade Certificate, Temporary Registration, Permanent Registration, Renewal, Duplicate, ownership Transfer.
  • Fitness/NOC:  The Transport Department at the city of Trimulgherry is responsible for issuing No-Objection certificates, along with fitness certificates. This comes under the rules set by the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988, that states the mandatory issuing of fitness certificates to commercial and personal vehicles.
  • Permits Application Online and Objection System for Vehicles: -An application of the grant of Conductor’s Licence shall be made in Form-L.Con.A and shall be amid a medical certificate in Form-M.C. Con., valid adult care certificate from St. John Ambulance Association and fee as prescribed.

Vehicle Registration types in Trimulgherry-

Ownership Transfer in Trimulgherry

Whenever the vehicle ownership is transferred, the transferor must mention the cause of the transfer in form 29 to the authorities for registration in whose jurisdiction the transferor has their business place.

In case of the vehicle’s owner’s death, the person who will succeed in possession of the car may use it for three months without getting it transferred to their name or as if they have shared it.

In case the vehicle is up for an ownership transfer after being bought at an auction, the new owner has to replace the former owner’s name with their own on the certificate of registration. For this, they need to inform the authorities by filling in Form 32 under 30 days’ time. 

Renewal of Registering in Trimulgherry

An application for renewing the registration certificate in Trimulgherry must be filled in form 25; it must not be more than 2 months or 60 days of its expiry. The fees must be paid for the renewal. They must be as elaborated in Rule 81 of the 1989 Central Motor Vehicle Rule to the Authority of Registration in whose jurisdiction the vehicle comes under.
