  • If the vehicle is acquired at an auction run by the state or the federal government, the registration must be completed within 30 days of receiving the car.

Renewal of Registration in Lucknow RTO

To renew your car's registration, you must have a working vehicle and produce an RC book as well as a PUC (Pollution under Control Certificate) to the Lucknow RTO. You must register your car with the RTO at your local RTO office, as per the regulations of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988. You must complete and submit Form 25.
