To renew the certificate of registration at Trivandrum RTO, the application shall be made in Form 25. The form should be submitted 60 days prior to the date of expiry. You have to submit the form with all the necessary documents at the Trivandrum RTO office along with the form.

The application shall be made in Form 26 for the allotment of a duplicate registration certificate at Trivandrum RTO. The fees for availing the duplicate registration certificate are determined under the Motor Vehicles Act 1989, rule 81.
You are required to provide the following documents to the registration authority at the Trivandrum RTO along with the form:
Applicants aged between 16 and 18 years are eligible to apply for a driving licence, along with the written authorization from the parents or legal guardian for riding a motorcycle below 50cc.
Firstly, visit the official Trivandrum RTO website and fill and submit the ownership transfer certificate online. It should be done jointly by the seller and buyer. After the submission of the form both parties will receive the OTP on their registered mobile numbers to authenticate the request. Once everything is in order, you will have to submit scanned copies of required and supporting documents along with the signature on the duly filled application form. The whole procedure should be completed within a month of the transaction of the vehicle took place from old owner to the new one.
Applicants of a non-transport driving licence and below 50 years, you need to submit Form 1, and if you are above 50 years, then you will need to submit Form 1A. While applying for a learner's licence, you will need to submit Form 2.
