Depreciation Protect — With this Edelweiss bike insurance add-on protection, you can be reimbursed for the amount of depreciation that will eventually be removed by insurance at the time of claim settlement. This add-on benefit would not cover total loss, constructive total loss, or theft of the bike. If your bike is repaired at a garage that Edelweiss does not authorize, the first 10% of the claim amount will be removed. It is only valid for bikes under 5 years old and only for the first two claims made during the policy period.
Invoice Value Protect – In the event of total and constructive total loss or theft of your two-wheeler, you will be reimbursed the amount equal to the most recent available sales invoice from the manufacturer, including original customs duty or the replacement value of a new vehicle, whichever is less. Aside from that, you'll be covered for RTO registration fees and road taxes. However, you can only use this Edelweiss bike insurance add-on coverage once during the policy year.
Pillion Protect – This Edelweiss bike insurance add-on cover will provide you with compensation for bodily injury or death sustained by an unnamed hirer, driver, pillion caused by your two-wheeler.
Consumable Expenses Protect - This Edelweiss bike insurance add-on covers the cost of consumables that must be replaced or replenished during the repair of your damaged bike. Engine oil, brake oil, coolant, screw, nut & bolt, and goods of a similar kind are among the consumables included under this benefit, excluding fuel. This Edelweiss bike insurance add-on benefit, however, is only valid for the first two claims made during the insurance period.
Emergency Medical Expenses Protect – With this Edelweiss bike insurance add-on cover, you can get coverage for emergency medical costs incurred by you or any occupant of your bike as a result of bodily injuries sustained while mounting and dismounting from the bike, while driving or traveling on the bike, or as a result of a violent accident that required treatment in a hospital or nursing home. This benefit also covers ambulance costs up to 1% of the total sum covered or INR 1,000, whichever is lower.
Additional Third Party Property Damage Protect — With this Edelweiss bike insurance add-on insurance, you will be compensated for property damage that you own or that is held in your trust, custody, and control up to a certain maximum, provided that the damage is exclusively and directly caused by accident caused by your bike.
